100 Days After The War

Georgia attacked South Osetia about 100 days ago, 7th of August 2008.  First Georgian volleys towards Tskhinval, the capital of South Osetia was about 23h30min of Moscow time.

This is the chart of the beginning of this war. Georgia attacks, therefore it is signified by the Ascendant and its lady, Venus. South Osetia is signified by the Descendant and its lord, Mars.

Venus is in her own triplicity, but in its fall as well. Saturn is the lord of X house, therefore it signifies Georgian aim and Georgian victory. Moreover, Saturn is the lord of the Part of Fortune. Venus is going directly to the Saturn, i.e. Georgians are going to their victory.

Mars is in its own triplicity, and it is in the XII house of South Osetia, i.e. the XII from the VII. In a few hours before the attack, Georgian President, Mikhail Saakashvili declared that he would not attack, and that he was searching for peace. Most of Osetians had been sleeping peacefully, when Georgians started the concentrated bombing of Tskhinval.

Venus is going to Saturn, and Georgieans are going to their victory. On August 8th, Georgian tv announces that Georgian army has taken Tskhinval, and they gained the victory.

But there is a very interesting thing about Saturn in this chart. Saturn is occidental, and it is visible in the evening at the western part of the horizon after a sunset. But it is close to the limit of its visibility. It is still visible in the evening of August 8th, but only during few minutes and almost on the horizon. But on August 9th, it hides in the light of the Sun, i.e. it is the day of Saturn’s heliacal setting. In other words, the Sun takes away Georgian victory from the sky.

The Sun is the lord of the XI from the VII, i.e. it is the friends of South Osetia. Russian army entered South Osetia and took away Georgian victory on August 9th. But on the other hand, at the same moment the Sun conjuncts with the Dragon’s Tail. The Sun is very strong by itself, but the current situation is not so good for it.
